Jake Paul’s smallest opponent suffered horrific fate 5ft 5in Gervonta Davis hopes to avoid in exhibition mismatch

Jake Paul will lace up the gloves for another bizarre boxing mismatch on November 14.

A year on from his controversial win over 59-year-old heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, the YouTuber-turned-boxer will square off against current WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition bout.

Standing at just 5ft 5in tall and typically weighing 135lbs when he steps in the ring, ‘Tank’ will face a huge size disadvantage against Jake Paul. The 6ft 1in prospect has tipped the scales at 227lbs during his 12-1 fight career.

Revisiting Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson

Jake Paul has targeted smaller fighters throughout his controversial 13-fight run in the ring.

The smallest of them was NBA star Nate Robinson, whose first and only boxing bout ended in disaster.

In November 2020, Paul stole the show with a faceplant knockout win over Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.

The 5ft 8in basketball player’s head bounced off the canvas when he was put to sleep by a massive overhand right in the second round of his fight with Paul.

Fans were so concerned for Robinson that he was forced to issue a statement assuring he was ‘OK’ after the Paul KO.

Davis will surrender a few more inches in height than Robinson, but he’ll still be confident of beating Paul.

The 30-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers on the planet in 2025.

Meanwhile, Paul’s best win came against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who was at least 10 years past his peak when they fought in June. So, the jury is still out on the former Disney star and his ability to hang with actual boxers, regardless of size.

Jake Paul drops Anthony Joshua hint

For the past few weeks, all the talk has been about Jake Paul fighting Anthony Joshua next.

‘The Problem Child’ dropped a major hint that a clash with the two-time heavyweight world champion ‘Goliath’ is still on the cards after announcing Gervonta Davis as his next opponent.

“Gervonta, who has been disrespecting my name for too long,” Paul tweeted.

“His nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds.

“First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath.”
