Jake Paul breaks his silence to confirm super fight against Gervonta Davis

Jake Paul has confirmed his next boxing outing after rumors surfaced online this Wednesday of a potential blockbuster.

This Wednesday, rumors began to surface that Jake Paul had booked to fight against boxing world champion Gervonta Davis in a staggering exhibition fight.

The rumors came as quite the shock as following his win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr this past June, ‘The Problem Child’ declared that he wanted to fight against Anthony Joshua.

Talks seemed to be heading the right direction between Paul’s and Joshua’s teams and at one point, it seemed likely that the fight would happen.

Jake Paul confirms Gervonta Davis clash

Despite those talks, rumors began to surface online earlier this Wednesday that Paul would take on ‘Tank’ Davis next in an exhibition fight from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

However, 28-year-old’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian made a post on X, which claimed that some ‘sources’ had confirmed the wrong news.

“Amazing how ‘sources’ have it confirmed by have it wrong.”

And not long after, Paul took to X himself to confirm the fight, which will stream live on Netflix on November 14.

“Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. His nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy,” Paul said.

“Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds. First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath,” Paul continued.

Despite earlier reports that Paul vs Joshua fell apart due to ‘network issues’, Paul’s statement clearly hints at the fact that following his fight against Davis on November 14, he will then fight Joshua.

Paul is being backed by Davis’ former opponent

The majority of Davis’ career has been competed at 135lbs, which is a huge difference in comparison to Paul, who’s last fight was at 200lbs.

And because of that huge weight difference between the two, Davis’ former rival Ryan Garcia is backing Paul to win the fight, calling it ‘delusional’.
