Jake Paul’s most famous KO victim provides shocking prediction for potential Anthony Joshua clash… ‘You can’t tell me’

Jake Paul could be set for the biggest test of his career by some distance next time out.

Fans didn’t react well to Eddie Hearn stating that Paul had emerged as the frontrunner to face Anthony Joshua next.

Many see the matchup as a huge mismatch, both in terms of the size difference between them and the level that they’ve been competing at.

While Paul versus Joshua may face some hurdles in the UK, Hearn recently claimed that the fight could take place in America, where it would still be a huge event.

Not many people will be giving ‘The Problem Child’ a good chance of emerging victorious but one of his former opponents thinks he could pull it off.

Tyron Woodley believes that there’s a ‘big chance’ Jake Paul can hurt Anthony Joshua

In back-to-back fights in 2021, Tyron Woodley was beaten by Jake Paul as the social media star continued to prove people wrong inside the ring.

Their rematch in particular, where ‘The Problem Child’ knocked out the former UFC champion in the sixth round, was the controversial star’s biggest and most impressive win at the time.

Woodley recently commented on what a fight between his former opponent and Anthony Joshua would look like when speaking with Action Network.

‘The Chosen One’ made it clear that while he wasn’t picking Paul to get his hand raised, he does believe that he can cause ‘AJ’ some serious problems.

“I just feel like AJ got so much power and experience and Jake is crazy for even wanting that fight. But like I said before, he is faster, he is probably gonna be more agile, he’s probably gonna run around from AJ a little bit and try to get a shot in, but he’s still got power.

“You can’t tell me if he hit AJ flush on the chin there’s no chance he could knock him down. There’s a big chance he could do that.”

Pointing to Joshua’s previous knockout losses, with one of them happening in his last outing against Daniel Dubois, Woodley stated that at the very least, Paul has the potential to hurt his opponent.

“If Jake Paul hits Anthony Joshua flush on the face, he can be knocked down. I mean, he can be knocked out too. AJ has been knocked out.  I’m not saying Jake’s going to win. The fight hasn’t even been made yet, so I’m not in a position to pick. But Jake has power. He has the ability that if he hits you, you can be knocked out.”

Tyron Woodley doesn’t think that Anthony Joshua is the toughest heavyweight matchup for Jake Paul

While Anthony Joshua has suffered some big losses in his career, the British star has also recorded some devastating wins.

Before his loss to Daniel Dubois, fans questioned whether some of his vulnerabilities would be exposed by Francis Ngannou, who has a track record for knocking out opponents in his MMA career.

Joshua answered this by demolishing Ngannou in two rounds and reminding everyone that he’s also one of the scariest punchers in the heavyweight division.

Tyron Woodley believes that despite Paul having to face the power of ‘AJ’, a fight against a technician like Tyson Fury would be more difficult for him.

“To be honest, I think he would have a tougher fight against Tyson Fury than AJ. Just style-wise, because Tyson’s going to make him miss, laugh, push him around, outbox him.

“When you outbox somebody like that, the anxiety kicks in, ‘Damn, he’s just a better boxer’. I feel like power and athleticism, Jake and Anthony are going to be matching for that, who’s more athletic and who’s more powerful?”
