Nate Diaz slams Khamzat Chimaev in scathing two-word reaction to dominant UFC 319 title win

Nate Diaz wasn’t impressed by Khamzat Chimaev’s shutout victory at UFC 319.

The UFC legend watched from home as a new middleweight champion was crowned on Saturday night.

Dricus du Plessis barely landed a punch as he was mauled on the ground for five rounds during the UFC 319 main event.

Ultimately, Khamzat Chimaev picked up a lopsided decision win to kick off a new title reign at 185lbs.

Nate Diaz’s two-word reaction to UFC 319

Conor McGregor put aside his beef with Khamzat Chimaev to say congrats following his UFC 319 win.

Nate Diaz went in the opposite direction as he slammed his long-time rival on social media.

“Can’t Fight,” he wrote on X midway through the UFC 319 main event.

The cryptic post was likely referring to Chimaev’s reliance on wrestling, rather than striking, to get the job done.

Later, Diaz upped the ante as he retweeted a post from Chael Sonnen, which bizarrely suggested Du Plessis was up on the scorecards after three rounds.

Nate Diaz’s beef with Khamzat Chimaev explained

Diaz was supposed to face Chimaev in his final UFC fight in September 2022.

The two men brawled backstage before Dana White was forced to cancel a pre-fight press conference.

After that, the Russian phenom missed weight by 7.5lbs, which resulted in their clash being cancelled.

Chimaev ended up mauling Kevin Holland in a 133-second submission win at UFC 279.

Diaz left MMA’s premier promotion with a guillotine choke victory over Tony Ferguson on the same card.

Even though they never fought, the Diaz vs. Chimaev beef is clearly going strong all these years later.
