Seats are filling up for the biggest fight of the year at UFC 319.
The middleweight championship is on the line between UFC champion Dricus du Plessis and the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in the five-round main event.
Du Plessis vs. Chimaev headlines a 12-fight card which takes place from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Many thought Theo Von would be cageside for UFC 319, as he usually arrives early to UFC events. However, the comedian was nowhere to be seen and another celebrity took his place in ‘The Windy City’.

Country singer Zac Brown takes after Theo Von at UFC 319
The first fight of the night was the flyweight tournament final of ‘The Ultimate Fighter 33’ between Joseph Morales and Alibi Idiris.
Famous country singer Zac Brown arrived for the early prelims, sitting in the front row, while most of the seats around him were empty.
“How about Zac Brown in the building for fight one,” commentator Jon Anik said.
“Taking the Theo Von approach,” Joe Rogan added.
“Theo beats the broadcast team here every time,” Anik replied.
“He comes with me,” said Rogan.
Brown has attended UFC events before, such as the milestone UFC 300 and UFC 309 last November.
Theo Von doesn’t understand why people don’t show up to UFC early
The arenas for most UFC events don’t tend to fill up until later in the prelims or the main card.
Of course, that’s depending on the name value behind the card, as UFC 300 had the vast majority of fans in attendance from the first fight between former champions Cody Garbrandt and Deiveson Figueiredo.
Theo Von has gone viral for arriving at UFC events early. He’s often the only celebrity watching from the first few rows.
Von talked about this recently on Bussin’ with the Boys.
“Here’s the thing. You could watch a couple of f—— muppets in your apartment complex f—— slap each other over some detergent and s—,” Von said.
“Or you could go out here early and see two guys who have been chasing their dreams f—— live out their action.
“It’s crazy to me that people don’t go early,” Von added.
