What started as a deep 15 fight card has now lost two fights within a matter of hours as another fight falls just days out from UFC 319.
This coming Saturday, the UFC returns to Chicago for UFC 319, headlined by a middleweight title fight between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.
That isn’t the only anticipated fight on the card, though, as in the co-main event, top featherweight prospects Lerone Murphy and Aaron Pico clash for a potential number one contender spot.
As well as the blockbuster main and co-main event, fan favorite Michael ‘Venom’ Page returns to action to take on Jared Cannonier, with Fighting Nerd Carlos Prates also on the card.

UFC 319 loses another fight with the card taking a hit
Ahead of the event, fans have been worried about the status of Chimaev and whether he would actually make it to the event considering his previous health complications.
Despite that, after making a change to his fight camp, Chimaev has seemingly worked on his issues and will make it to Saturday night.
Unfortunately, though, just a few days out from the event, the card has taken a hit as it was announced earlier this Thursday that the fight between King Green and Diego Ferreira is off due to an injury to Green.
That isn’t the only hit the card has taken, though, as it was reported not long ago by Aaron Bronsteter that the fight between Rodrigo Sezinando and Daniil Donchenko is also off.
Both fighters were scheduled to make their promotional debuts after impressing on the respective regional scenes, however the fight will now be rescheduled and will take place at a later date.
Promotion books late notice fight for UFC 319
Although two fights have unfortunately fallen off the card, one fight has been shockingly added to the card with just a few days notice.
After picking up a flawless win on Dana White’s Contender Series this past Tuesday, Susurkaev Baisangur is reportedly set to feature on the event, alongside his teammate Chimaev.
