Dana White has issued a definitive response to questions about fighter pay after signing a $7.7 billion broadcast deal.
On Monday, the UFC CEO announced the end of pay-per-view due to his 10-year broadcast deal with Paramount and CBS.
Jake Paul was one of the many people who immediately questioned how the multi-billion-dollar cash influx would benefit UFC fighters.
Dana White initially confirmed that bonuses will go up as he danced around the subject of fighter pay.

Dana White confirms fighter pay bump
On Wednesday, Dana White discussed the $7.7 billion deal on the ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast.
The UFC boss promised that the Paramount and CBS link-up will result in his fighters getting a pay rise.
“When you do deal like this, we were talking about how good it is for the fans, it’s obviously good for the company, but it’s incredible for the fighters,” White said.
“We always had a model where you eat what you kill with the pay-per-views.
“Mathematically, you just figure that out. It’s going to be incredible.
“Since 2001, the day we bought this company, fighter pay has gone up. Every new deal that we’ve done, fighter pay has gone up. Obviously, fighter pay will go up for this deal.
“Not just financially for the fighters, but the amount of exposure now that they are gonna get. More people can tune in for $12.99 than could for $80+.”
Dana White insists Joe Rogan is going nowhere
Dana White also addressed Joe Rogan’s UFC future following the $7.7 billion deal
According to MMA’s most powerful man, Rogan and the rest of the commentary team will remain in place when the UFC heads to a new broadcaster in January 2026.
“Everything is good for Joe Rogan,” White said. “Joe Rogan has no problems in life whatsoever.
“Joe Rogan was doing great before the deal; he’s going to do just fine after the deal.
“Listen, Joe Rogan isn’t here at the UFC because of the money. He did the first 12 events for free.
“Joe Rogan has a time problem; that’s the only thing Joe has. If Joe didn’t have a time problem, he’d even be doing the Fight Nights. S—, he’d be at the Contender Series!”
“Everything is staying the same as far as the team goes.”
