Michael ‘Venom’ Page knows he won’t fight in the UFC forever.
The former Bellator superstar will make his fourth appearance under the UFC banner this weekend when he fights top middleweight contender Jared Cannonier at UFC 319 this Saturday in Chicago.
Michael ‘Venom’ Page is a 26-fight veteran with an impressive record of 23-3. The London Shootfighter product is considered one of the best strikers to enter the Octagon in recent years.
Coming off a decision win over Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov at UFC Saudi Arabia, time will tell how long Page sticks around the sport after he turned 38 in April.
Page apparently has some things figured out for when he retires from MMA, including a new career.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page plans on having an acting career
Ahead of his fight at UFC 319, Page was asked about what he wants to do when his fighting career is all said and done.
‘MVP’ says he sees himself becoming an actor, on top of having his own film company.
“I’ve got quite a few goals outside [competition],” Page told Fred Talks Fighting.
“Starting a film company, ITM,” Page revealed.
“We’re doing films. I’m going to be acting as well.
“I’ll be busy, I’m sure…”
“Oh yeah, definitely,” Page said, when asked if he’s a better actor than former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping.
“You guys will see it soon,” Page said with a laugh.
Michael ‘Venom’ Page could leapfrog Anthony Hernandez with UFC 319 win
Page is still ranked #15 at welterweight, despite not having fought at the weight class since March of last year, when he won a decision over Kevin Holland at UFC 299.
Unranked at middleweight, Page has the chance to crack the top-10 with a victory over the #8-ranked Jared Cannonier.
As of this writing, former title challenger Cannonier is ranked above last weekend’s headliners Roman Dolidze and the victorious Anthony Hernandez.
While Hernandez’s ranking will change come Tuesday, Page could surpass Cannonier and Hernandez with the right performance on fight night.
