The UFC broadcast booth burst in laughter after one fighter’s walkout.
The UFC Apex has been very violent lately, with finishes galore at UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday night.
The card featured a top middleweight contender fight between Anthony Hernandez and Roman Dolidze in the main event.
Multiple fighters struggled to get to their stool after KO losses on the undercard. UFC commentator and former champion Daniel Cormier called Elijah Smith’s vicious slam KO on the undercard the ‘most devastating’ he’s ever seen.
During the prelim headliner, Cormier joked he would’ve kicked a fighter after he stepped into the Octagon.

‘Get out of here’ … Daniel Cormier reacts to Julius Walker showing respect to opponent’s corner
UFC light heavyweight Julius Walker chose ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA as his walk-out song, bringing an upbeat sense of nostalgia into the Octagon.
However, that’s not what Cormier nitpicked Walker for.
“What a song,” Cormier reacted to Walker walking out to ‘Dancing Queen’.
“This is a new thing,” the UFC commentator said of Walker shaking hands with opponent Raffael Cerqueira and his corner men.
“Look, everybody goes and shakes the other corner’s [hands]…
“I would have kicked him,” Cormier said from the broadcast booth cageside.
“Get your a– out of here,” Cormier added, joining the booth in laughter afterwards.
Former UFC champion Charles Oliveira is also known for embracing his opponent’s corner before his fights—the retired Cormier wanted no part of that when he was fighting in the Octagon. ‘DC’ was as stone-cold as they come in the cage.
UFC announcer Joe Martinez read a scorecard wrong for Julius Walker vs. Raffael Cerqueira
Walker vs. Cerqueira might not have ended in a finish like the three previous fights, but the light heavyweight bout was far from boring.
Walker and Cerqueira delivered a fight-of-the-night contender at UFC Vegas 109, with moments of trouble for both and a knockdown for Walker.
Walker defeated the Brazilian by unanimous decision, with announcer Joe Martinez reading the scorecards incorrectly (30-27, 30-27, 30-28).
“It was supposed to be 30-26, not 30-28, per Joe Martinez,” John Morgan said of the one 30-28 score on X.
One judge scored Round 2 a 10-8 for Walker.
