Khamzat Chimaev has hilarious five-word reaction to Adin Ross’ $700,000 stream controversy

Khamzat Chimaev has hilariously hit back at Adin Ross’ claim that he required a monstrous six-figure sum to appear on his stream.

The top middleweight contender is preparing to face Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 319 later this month, and has been training in America for the fight. He was reportedly asked to appear on a live stream with Ross to promote the event, but asked for an astronomical sum.

However, it appears that the story has changed and that he didn’t really ask for the reported $700,000 payment. Ross has claimed it was a misunderstanding, but not before being mocked by Chimaev in the comments.

Khamzat Chimaev has hilarious response to Adin Ross’ $700,000 stream story

Adin Ross is known for having big name celebrities on his live streams, from Dana White to A-List rappers such as Drake and President Donald Trump. The social media star also runs his own fight promotion and has been spotted at many UFC events.

So heading into UFC 319, he looked into getting Khamzat Chimaev on to his stream, before being told by a supposed member of the fighter’s team that he would need $700,000 to appear. He spoke about the issue, and was clipped across the board.

Chimaev appeared baffled by the entire discourse, commenting on an Instagram post that was spotted by Happy Punch: “Who is this bulls— g-y?” It is unclear whether he mistyped or was making a crude remark at Ross’ expense. The streamer, for his part, replied: “DM me bro, it was a misunderstanding.”

Adin Ross has previously offered stars massive payouts to appear on stream

It is not unheard of for Ross to pay celebrities to appear on his streams. He has attracted A-List audiences to his boxing shows, including a musical performance from Sexxy Red among other big names.

Most famously, he reportedly agreed to pay rapper Playboy Carti $2million and a sports car for a chaotic appearance on his stream. However, he ended up only giving him $200,000, which angered other musicians who have appeared for free.

21 Savage was particularly perturbed, and it has likely led to other managers attempting to take advantage of the streamer’s massive wealth.
