‘What a comeback’… Conor McGregor delights in female BKFC star’s gruesome and bloody knockout

Conor McGregor was over the moon watching a massive comeback on the BKFC undercard last night.

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor was offering alternate commentary on his Instagram page as he watched Shyanna Bintiff get up from a Marisol Ruelas knockdown and launch an attack of her own. Bintiff went on to win by knockout after landing a knockdown of her own a round later.

The pair’s fight was one of the most exciting of the night at BKFC in Sturgis. The event also featured the beloved former The Ultimate Fighter star Julian Lane finally winning a world title in an emotional main event.

Conor McGregor offers intense commentary for BKFC KO

Conor McGregor was arguably the most keen viewer of last night’s BKFC event in Sturgis, and made his opinions known on a number of the fights. He even uploaded a video of his commentary on the bout between Shyanna Bintiff and Marisol Ruelas, which was re-shared by The Mac Life.

“We are different, ladies and gentlemen,” he told viewers as Bintiff landed a big shot that bloodied her rival. McGregor then implored Ruelas, who had scored a knockdown the previous round, to “get tough”, but she was forced to the ground.

He insisted that she be given time to get up, but she opted not to beat the count and the fight was stopped. “Wow, what a comeback,” he said of the victory. “She got dropped with a big left hook and hurt her with another one.

“Then she comes back and stops her opponent next round. Mental fortitude, that was incredible that was. Look at her, happy out. Wow!”

Conor McGregor is plotting fighting comeback of his own for 2026

McGregor is clearly animated about watching fights, and is now preparing for his own comeback to the octagon. He expects to fight at the White House next year, and even returned to the drug testing pool this week.

By the time that July 4 event rolls around, it will have been five years since Dustin Poirier broke the Irishman’s leg and all but ended his fighting career. He was due to come back last year against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but the fight was cancelled due to a broken toe.

Chandler has since gone on to fight twice, losing both times to Charles Oliveira and Paddy Pimblett respectively. However, it seems that he will still be the opponent if McGregor does return next summer at the White House.
