Khamzat Chimaev demanded $700,000 to make an appearance on controversial streamer’s livestream

Ahead of his UFC 319 title fight against Dricus Du Plessis, Khamzat Chimaev has put a high price on his time.

On August 16, Khamzat Chimaev will finally fight for a UFC title when he takes on Dricus Du Plessis in the UFC 319 main event in Chicago, in a fight that has been demanded for a while.

Chimaev hasn’t stepped foot in the Octagon since last October when he crushed Robert Whittaker’s jaw in his most impressive performance yet.

Du Plessis on the other hand defended his middleweight title earlier this year at UFC 312, in a rematch against Sean Strickland, finally putting an end to their rivalry.

Chimaev demands $700,000 to make appearance on controversial streamer’s livestream

Ahead of their clash, ‘Stillknocks’ has shown off his physique, showing fans that he is in incredible shape, resulting in a lot of fans changing their predictions for the fight.

‘Borz’ on the other hand has been completing the final part of his training camp in LA, alongside the likes of Arman Tsarukyan and Aaron Pico, after starting his camp in the secluded mountains of Kislovodsk.

And having fully locked in ahead of his first UFC title fight, Chimaev has put a high price on the value of his time, turning down the opportunity to take part in a livestream with Dana White’s friend, Adin Ross, demanding $700,000 to make an appearance.

“I actually wanna tell you something really funny, I don’t care I’m gonna air it out. On god, I connected with someone from Khamzat’s team and the guy said $700,000 to stream with Khamzat, I never laughed so hard in my life, it was insane,” Ross said on a recent live broadcast.

Early on in his career, the Chechen may have jumped at the opportunity to appear on Ross’ livestream, however, it is clear that over the past year, he has begun to take his career far more seriously.
