UFC Vegas 108 may have been one fighter’s last time in the Octagon.
After spending most of their summer on the road, the premier promotion are back at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A rare flyweight main event takes place between top contender Tatsuro Taira and the undefeated Hyun Sung Park. The card features 12 fights, with multiple finishes on the undercard.
One fight in the middleweight division wasn’t so entertaining, as Rodolfo Vieira vs. Tresean Gore went the full 15-minute distance at UFC Vegas 108.
The matchup ended with many fans fearing the worst for ‘Mr. Vicious’.

Tresean Gore could be cut after back-to-back losses at UFC Vegas 108
Once undefeated on season 29 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, Tresean Gore’s pro record fell to 5-4 after a unanimous decision loss to Vieira on Saturday.
Gore defended 13 out of 14 takedown attempts from the BJJ champion, but was ultimately outstruck on the feet, giving him back-to-back losses.
It doesn’t help that the 31-year-old also missed weight by 3.5 lbs on Friday. There’s a possibility Gore is looking at a UFC release after a relatively lackluster performance.
“Tresean Gore doesn’t want it. He needs to call it a career after the UFC cuts him tomorrow,” one fan wrote on X.
“Tresean Gore, your time in the UFC has come to an end. We have seen enough. Not UFC level period,” another fan said.
“Very frustrating since he fought like he did not want to get hurt, not like he wanted to win,” another fan replied.
“He stopped almost every takedown and kept the fight standing which would have been one of his paths to victory, but did not commit to ANY strikes. Weird performance.”
“Release Tresean Gore,” a fan chimed in.
Tresean Gore says he gave his last weight cut ‘his all’
Gore was fined 25% of his fight purse on Friday for missing weight by 3.5 lbs.
This was Gore’s first-ever weight miss under the UFC banner.
After stepping off the scale, Gore said: ‘I gave it my all, ‘y’all’.
We’ll see where the six-fight UFC veteran goes from here.
