Former UFC flyweight title challenger Manon Fiorot is set for her bounceback opportunity at UFC Vancouver.
Many believed Manon Fiorot would reel in a new era in the women’s flyweight division against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 315 earlier this year. But after falling to the champion Shevchenko in her first UFC loss by unanimous decision, Fiorot is back in the contender role as she looks to work her way back to a title shot.
Fiorot, one of the most dangerous contenders in the UFC women’s flyweight division, was unbeaten through her first seven UFC fights before the loss to Shevchenko. Fiorot has faced many of the division’s top stars, and will face a surging contender for her next fight at UFC Vancouver.

Manon Fiorot set to face surging flyweight as she looks to earn Valentina Shevchenko rematch
As reported by MMA Fighting, Fiorot will face Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC Vancouver in October. As of this writing, the Fiorot vs. Jasudavicius matchup hasn’t been announced by the promotion, and the full card is expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
According to MMA Fighting, Fiorot vs. Jasudavicius will not feature as the main event for UFC Vancouver. The fight will be a three-rounder and potentially serve as the card’s co-main event.
Jasudavicius has been on a roll and is knocking on the door of a potential women’s flyweight title shot. She’s won five consecutive fights, including her recent victory over former UFC champion Jessica Andrade at UFC 315.
Jasudavicius has defeated the likes of Ariane da Silva, Mayra Bueno Silva, and Fatima Kline during her UFC tenure. She earned a shot in the promotion via Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021.
Before falling to Shevchenko, Fiorot defeated the likes of Erin Blanchfield, Rose Namajunas, and Katlyn Chookagian. She won 12 consecutive fights overall after dropping her pro debut to former Bellator star Leah McCourt at Cage Warriors 94.
As Fiorot and Jasudavicius prepare to fight in a potential No. 1 contender bout, the door has swung open for one of the division’s top stars to get the next crack at Shevchenko.
Manon Fiorot’s UFC Vancouver booking opens the door for Natalia Silva
Top contender Natalia Silva remains without a fight booking after her most-recent victory over former titleholder Alexa Grasso at UFC 315. Silva called out Shevchenko immediately after her victory, but a potential champ vs. champ matchup stands in her way.
Shevchenko could potentially face UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili in a super fight later this year. Weili touted the fight as ‘destiny’ as she watched Shevchenko turn away Fiorot at UFC 315.
As the UFC matchmakers decide what’s next for Shevchenko, Silva, and Weili, the UFC women’s flyweight division will be under a big spotlight for the rest of 2025.
