Joe Rogan was shocked to learn how much money Drake has made from betting on MMA fights.
The rap icon is famous for wagering large amounts of money on almost every UFC pay-per-view.
Last month, he lost $200,000 after incorrectly backing Charles Oliveira to beat Ilia Topuria at UFC 317.
Drake loses so much that rumors about him being ‘cursed’ have spread around the internet like wildfire – but that myth was busted by Joe Rogan during the latest episode of his uber-popular podcast.

Joe Rogan learns about Drake’s winnings
The UFC commentator recently spoke about sports betting with stand-up comic James McCann.
Rogan tried to educate his podcast guest on Drake’s habit of losing big money on UFC fights.
However, a quick look at the numbers left Rogan shocked to learn that the supposed ‘curse’ isn’t real.
“There’s like the Drake thing, too, because Drake bets big money on the UFC,” he said.
“They call it the ‘Drake Curse.’”
Rogan’s producer then pulled up a website dedicated to documenting Drake’s public bets.
It showed the ‘One Dance’ hitmaker is up over $1 million from betting big money on the UFC.
Rogan added: “Oh! All time from his public UFC bets. Over 25 bets, he’s wagered $13.45 million, returning $14.48 million. He’s won 10 out of those 25 bets, losing 15 times.
“That’s interesting because he’s only won 40 percent of the time, but he just bets big when he’s sure, so he’s ahead.”
Joe Rogan wanted to give Drake betting tips
In November 2024, Rogan offered Drake UFC fight advice after becoming concerned about him losing so much money.
“I wanna get a hold of Drake and talk to him about his fight picks,” he said.
“That motherf—er loses more money on fights [than anyone]. I wanna call him up.”
The numbers suggest Drake is doing just fine without getting tips from Rogan or anyone else.
