Jake Paul’s potential next opponent has left many boxing fans concerned for his safety.
The YouTuber-turned-fighter has amassed a 12-1 record by beating faded legends from boxing and MMA.
Last month, Jake Paul outpointed Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who once held the WBC middleweight title but hasn’t been relevant at world level for almost a decade.
The win, surprisingly, earned boxing’s most divisive star a top 15 cruiserweight ranking from the WBA before he seemingly decided to step up to heavyweight, where he beat a 58-year-old Mike Tyson in November 2024.

Jake Paul accepts Anthony Joshua fight
Boxing’s most powerful man, Turki Alalshikh, isn’t the biggest fan of Paul or his boxing career.
Still, the Saudi billionaire insists he would be willing to work with the 28-year-old on his next fight.
Alalshikh recently claimed Paul has agreed to face former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who hasn’t given the fight his green light yet.
“I’m not against him,” Alalshikh said about Paul on The Boxing Voice podcast. “I am against some kinds of fights he [does].
“I want to tell you an example and a surprise. I am thinking [about] doing him against Joshua now.
“Let me explain it to you. Joshua against Jake Paul, if Joshua destroys him, the headache of Jake Paul will go from my mind. If Jake Paul wins, I will know that Joshua is finished and Jake Paul deserves to be ranked and deserves to have a future in boxing.
“Jake Paul accepted. Now, next week I will talk with Joshua about it.”
Fans fear for Jake Paul
Francis Ngannou got badly KO’d by Anthony Joshua when they boxed in March 2024.
Fans are worried that something even worse will happen if Paul takes on one of the world’s best heavyweights later this year.
“Anthony Joshua might kill Jake Paul,” one worried fan said. While another begged: “PLEASE STOP!!!”
“AJ round 1 KO likely with a jab,” a third person predicted.
“This is one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard. Sounds about right for 2025,” someone else commented.
“Absolutely wild if this happens what is going on rn,” another concerned fight fan wrote.
“Not good for Paul. He is gonna get hurt really bad,” a sixth X user insisted.
