Mike Perry was the face of BKFC for some time until the biggest star in combat sports arrived in the promotion.
While ‘Platinum’ remains the biggest name on the promotion’s roster, he’s butted heads with Conor McGregor ever since the Irishman became a part-owner.
Both men were in attendance for the recent BKFC press conference where McGregor left fans confused with his incredibly over the top promo.
It didn’t take long for tensions to rise during the event as McGregor and Perry went face-to-face and exchanged some comments back and forth.
This wasn’t the only interaction that they had, as Perry recently detailed in an interview.

Mike Perry was left with questions following casino interaction with Conor McGregor
While their interaction at the press conference was far from friendly, Mike Perry still has a lot of respect for Conor McGregor and what he brings to BKFC.
It’s not surprising to see them clash from time to time considering that both men are two of the biggest personalities in all of combat sports.
Perry recently shared that their brief confrontation at the press conference wasn’t the only face-to-face chat that he shared with ‘The Notorious’ while attending the BKFC event.
‘Platinum’ recalled in an interview with Helen Yee Sports that later on that day, he bumped into McGregor at a casino.
Unfortunately, Perry wasn’t able to provide too many details on what the Irishman said to him for one specific reason.
“Yo, last night I was playing a game in the casino, the little bubble popping dice, and Conor came over and said what’s up to me. He was telling me how he changed like his clothes and s—. I don’t know what else he said. It’s so crazy to me cuz when he was talking to me, he was speaking like wild Irish English.
“I was wondering like how does he do it when he gets on the mic at BKFC? Like he speaks so good on the mic but when he spoke to me just purely me and him, I don’t know what the f— he was saying. That s— was crazy. I don’t know what he said at all.”

Mike Perry names his dream opponent for his BKFC return
While the BKFC press conference may have featured some big announcements for the promotion, there was no confirmation of Mike Perry’s next fight.
Conor McGregor did state that ‘Platinum’ will be back in action on October 11 but no opponent was named.
With many fans expecting Perry’s next fight to be a part of the press conference, there was some speculation regarding a fight with recently inducted UFC Hall of Famer Robbie Lawler.
During his interview, Perry named Lawler as his dream opponent for his upcoming BKFC return.
“I want to fight Robbie Lawler. People can say whatever they want about him. He’s old or he’s never scared, they definitely say that. He’s never scared and if you get in the ring with Robbie Lawler, it’s definitely a super challenge. So, I think facing someone like Robbie, I think Robbie fits the description of what you would call a bare knuckle maniac and me and him facing off in bare knuckle would just be incredible.”
