Conor McGregor caught in the middle as Mike Perry tries to attack rival who slapped him at BKFC press conference

UFC legend Conor McGregor is famous for causing trouble at press conferences.

The former dual-weight UFC champion stole Jose Aldo’s belt and launched cans at Nate Diaz in the lead-up to two of his most iconic fights.

Now, ‘Notorious’ is tasked with keeping a lid on things while promoting bare-knuckle boxing events.

Conor McGregor found himself caught in the middle when a brawl almost broke out at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship [BKFC] press conference on Thursday evening.

Brawl almost breaks out at BKFC press conference

Conor McGregor and Mike Perry faced off as the pair finally met after the Irishman ‘fired’ BKFC’s biggest star for losing against Jake Paul in July 2024.

It seemed to be a show for the cameras until BKFC middleweight champion Dave Mundell got involved.

Things got serious when the 10-1 bare-knuckle boxer, who previously suffered a KO loss to Perry during his 10-5 MMA career, squared off against ‘Platinum’.

Perry headbutted his old rival’s cowboy hat off, prompting Mundell to push the ex-UFC star in the face.

The slap prompted Perry to go berserk as he tried to attack Mundell, who was saved by security.

McGregor struggled to maintain his balance as he tried to get between the two BKFC fighters.

Thankfully, the four security guards were able to drag Perry away before things got really ugly.

Conor McGregor teases UFC comeback

Before the scuffle, McGregor dropped a hint about his UFC comeback after four years out of action.

The 36-year-old teased his involvement in the 2026 UFC event set to take place at the White House.

“I’m in this as owner until I can clear my slate,” McGregor said.

“It’s looking like I’m heading to the Oval Office again, so that’s where I’m heading next.”
