Four fighters are currently coming to terms with the fact that the UFC has cut them.
UFC CEO Dana White is known for having sporadic clear-outs of his stacked roster of athletes.
The last fighter to get cut was a UFC 317 debutant who missed weight by 10lbs last month.
Now, according to Roster Watch, several more prominent figures have had their contracts terminated.

Trevin Giles
14-fight UFC veteran Trevin Giles is the most high-profile fighter hit by White’s roster purge.
The long-time welterweight and middleweight contender went 7-7 inside the UFC Octagon.
Giles holds big wins over James Krause and Roman Dolidze. The 32-year-old has also shared the cage with 185lb champion Dricus du Plessis and surging 170lb contender Michael Morales.
The decision to release Giles was triggered by his ongoing three-fight losing streak, which has seen him fall short against Gabriel Bonfim, Carlos Prates, and Mike Mallott.
Viviane Araujo

Viviane Araujo was a perennial flyweight contender during her 13-fight stay in the UFC.
The 38-year-old boasts wins over former title challengers Jennifer Maia, Roxanne Modafferi, and Alexis Davis.
Araujo is 2-3 in her last five fights and 7-6 since joining MMA’s premier promotion in 2019.
Last time out, she suffered a unanimous decision defeat when she fought Tracy Cortez at UFC 317.
Ange Loosa

Ange Loosa has been cut after a brutal knockout loss to Phil Rowe at UFC Atlanta on June 14.
Loosa’s face was pinned to the fence before he ate a sickening 10-punch KO combination.
Before that, the 31-year-old fell to a unanimous decision defeat against UFC Nashville star Gabriel Bonfim.
Loosa ends his UFC run with a 2-3 (1NC) record. Wins over AJ Fletcher and Rhys McKee weren’t enough to convince the powers that be he’s worthy of his spot on the roster.
Jordan Vucenic

Jordan Vucenic had the shortest UFC stay of the four fighters impacted by the latest cuts.
The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion went 2-0 in the Octagon against Guram Kutateladze and Chris Duncan, who scored an upset guillotine choke win when they clashed at UFC London in March.
At just 29 years old, Vucenic still has a bright future in the sport, which he believes will see him return to the UFC.
“60+ fights and 12 years of training every day to get here, and now I’ve been released by the UFC,” he wrote on social media to confirm the news.
“2 fights I believe on my day I win, but fate had other ideas, but this will not define me or affect me negatively, I’ll be back winning and back fighting in the UFC very soon.
