Leon Edwards is in hot water with UK fight fans after sharing his thoughts on Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall.
The UFC heavyweight duo were supposed to meet in a unification bout before ‘Bones’ opted to retire.
Two weeks later, Jon Jones made a shocking U-turn as he re-entered the drug testing pool and seemingly confirmed his comeback.
However, the greatest fighter of all time appears to have no interest in a fight with the new undisputed heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, whom Leon Edwards confidently predicts the American legend would have beaten during his prime.

Leon Edwards shares his thoughts on Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall
Leon Edwards recently spoke with boxing legend Carl Froch at the IBA Pro 7 event in Istanbul, Turkey.
‘Rocky’ was asked for his thoughts on a prime vs prime fight between Jones and his English compatriot, Aspinall.
“Prime, I’ll go, Jon Jones,” Edwards replied. “Yeah, 100 percent.
“I rate Jon Jones highly. I believe that he is the best to ever do.
“Tom is for now, he is the guy now.”
Edwards would give Aspinall a better chance of victory if he were to fight Jones right now.
He added: “I think the speed, power he carries, and the way he moves in there, he would’ve gave Jon Jones problems. It would’ve been a good fight.”
Edwards finished things off by insisting Jones ‘definitely’ did not duck the fight with Aspinall.

UFC fans used the comment section to vent their anger at what they saw as a betrayal.
“Leon, you little traitor,” one fan said, while another added: Traitor bum.”
“As a Brit, we now don’t claim him,” a third X user commented.
“Wow Leon, you’re lowkey a traitor wtf,” someone else wrote.
“Leon’s a bum,” another angry fan declared.
“Leon hasn’t a clue about fighting,” a sixth person insisted.
