Conor McGregor told 50 Cent ‘you need a bra’ during eight-year feud squashed at pub party

Conor McGregor’s eight-year beef with 50 Cent appears to have been squashed.

‘Notorious’ was seen partying with the rapper at his Black Forged Inn pub this past weekend.

The two men were videoed hugging, shaking hands, and having a wild time in Dublin, Ireland.

Many fans were confused by Conor McGregor linking up with 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson -, as the two men have been feuding for years, and it’s unclear when they put their differences aside to become friends.

So, we at Bloody Elbow have decided to create a timeline of the beef between the two superstar entertainers.

Floyd Mayweather boxing match

The Conor McGregor vs 50 Cent feud started with one crass comment during a press conference.

In August 2017, the UFC icon squared off against Floyd Mayweather in one of the biggest fights of all time.

During their four-city press tour, McGregor attempted to promote the boxing bout by using his opponent’s tumultuous friendship with 50 Cent.

“50 Cent’s a b—-,” the Irishman screamed into the mic.

“You and 50 are two fake money b—-es. He’s bankrupt, and you’re about to be.”

This prompted Jackson to launch a social media tirade that saw his beef with McGregor drag on for years after he suffered a 10th-round knockout loss to Mayweather.

Social media jabs

In March 2018, McGregor fired back with an angry Instagram post on International Women’s Day.

“I am made of granite. You need a bra. You jabbed up fool,” he wrote alongside a picture of 50 Cent on Instagram. “Hahahaha, you should have stayed quiet and promoted that fight for me on the free like you did. But you just kept going with them f—ing memes. Your 50, 50. 50 years old. F— off.”

McGregor tried to calm things down by insisting it’s ‘all love’ in his sign-off, but that didn’t stop the ‘In da Club’ hitmaker from relentlessly mocking him when he lost against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 a few months later.

Fight challenge

By November 2019, McGregor was so irked by 50 Cent’s memes that he wanted to settle their issue the old-fashioned way.

“I’d have to probably say 50 Cent, I’d like to fight him,” the 36-year-old replied when asked who he’d most like to step into the Octagon with right now.

“Throughout the course of the Floyd Mayweather build-up, I used him as a tool, a promotional tool on the free also. I knew he was linked to Floyd, so I tied him in also, and he responded big time and capitalized on that audience, so I was very thankful.

“But then after that, he began a little tirade against me on social media, particularly Instagram, where he’d make these memes about me constantly.”

“Every time I’d go onto the internet, I’d see 50 Cent had posted up some new stupid meme, and I wrote on one of the memes – old man on the internet making memes – and then he blocked me.

“So he’s had to block me, and I still see sometimes, I still get tagged in other people saying he’s saying this and he’s saying that.

“So I’d like to have a knock-off with 50, yeah. So if you’re listening, 50, let’s get it going, bud.”

Everything went quiet after McGregor’s fight offer, but there was no obvious sign that their beef had been squashed until 50 Cent was seen dapping up his old rival five years later.
