Conor McGregor teases opponent for UFC comeback at the White House after Dana White message

Conor McGregor has teased that he might finally complete The Ultimate Fighter season 31 on the grounds of the White House next year.

Legendary two-weight world champion McGregor has been out of action for four years. It appeared that there was no comeback in sight until an announcement this week from President Donald Trump that changed everything.

Now, McGregor is making an active push to get back in the octagon one more time. He even got in touch with UFC boss Dana White, as well as making a public series of messages demanding to land on the groundbreaking card.

Conor McGregor wants to finish Michael Chandler feud at UFC’s White House super-card

Conor McGregor has immediately become enamoured with the idea of fighting on the White House lawn, particularly after visiting the famed venue earlier this year. And in a new social media post, he shared an AI-generated photo of he and Michael Chandler facing off in front of the Oval Office.

The picture shows McGregor and Chandler wearing suits and facing off, with President Trump and Dana White visible in the background. He captioned the post: “The only place where disputes truly get settled: The White House.”

McGregor and Chandler were due to fight at UFC 303 last summer, but the fight was called off when the Irishman suffered a broken toe. It followed their coaching on The Ultimate Fighter 31 a year prior, where they went 1-1 with a winner each at bantamweight and lightweight.

Conor McGregor appears to have Dana White’s blessing for UFC comeback

Over the past few years whenever McGregor has tried to orchestrate a return to the octagon, it has not gone over well with Dana White. However, it seems that he may be finally about to find common ground with the UFC boss after all.

He recently shared a screenshot of a conversation where he had sent a series of voice notes to White, who replied: “I love it”.

It followed a message earlier in the day that showed him with President Trump alongside a caption which read “Happy 4th of July, USA. Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House. I would be honoured! Count me in!”
