Tyson Fury has taken matters into his own hands in a last gasp push to make Jake Paul rematch his brother Tommy.
The two-time heavyweight world champion was ringside for his sibling’s famous win over Paul in February of 2023, which was the one time the YouTuber tasted defeat. The fight was a split decision and saw Fury hit the canvas in the eighth, with fans calling for a rematch ever since.
Now, it appears that Paul is going to make another push for the pair to fight again, after an offer to compete on Netflix last year was turned down. And the Love Island star’s older brother is getting involved in negotiations.

Tyson Fury sends private message to Jake Paul to push Tommy Fury fight
Jake Paul has claimed that he offered Tommy Fury a massive payout to fight on Netflix last year, but was turned down due to it not being deemed enough. Instead, he went on to fight Mike Tyson in a fight that was a massive box office hit but failed to impress viewers.
Now, talks are going to restart with the younger Fury, who returned to the ring back in May with a win over Kenan Hanjalic. And his brother, legendary former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is getting involved behind the scenes.
“I hoped they would,” he told Seconds Out of a potential rematch. “I’ve even texted Jake Paul to say ‘what’s going on do you want to get it on with Tommy and make the fight happen. I just think there’s a lot of egos involved in boxing.
“It’s a lot of ‘he said this, she said that, I want this, I want that’. When things like that happen, it’s difficult to make fights as you’ve seen over the years.”
Jake Paul has five-man hitlist after earning world ranking
Following his win over Chavez Jr on Saturday night, Jake Paul listed a series of fighters he wanted to face, which included Tommy Fury. However, it was a completely bizarre string of names, ranging from lightweights to heavyweight world champions.

As a newly-minted WBA top 15 cruiserweight, one name that made complete sense was Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez, with whom he faced off on fight night. He also wants WBC champion Badou Jack, who ticks the boxes of being over 40-years-old and enjoying his best days at a much lower weight than 200lb.
“I want tougher fighters. I want to be world champion,” Paul said in his post-fight speech on Saturday night. “Zurdo looked slow as s— tonight, that’d be easy work too. Badou Jack, I want everybody. Anthony Joshua, Gervonta (Davis) and Tommy, stop running.”
