Security step in after Paddy Pimblett enters the cage for fiery face-off with Ilia Topuria at UFC 317

Paddy Pimblett made the most of his very brief cameo at UFC 317.

The popular Englishman was in the crowd to see a new lightweight champion be crowned on Saturday night.

Paddy Pimblett watched on from the front row as Ilia Topuria KO’d Charles Oliveira inside one round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Moments later, ‘The Baddy’ was in the Octagon sharing a fiery face off with his long-time UFC rival.

Security break up UFC 317 staredown

Pimblett gave Topuria credit for a flawless victory, but insisted his granite chin will never be cracked

The two men trash talked each other for a few moments before things threatened to get ugly.

Topuria pushed Pimblett away, prompting security to rush in and break up a potential scuffle.

Thankfully, neither fighter decided to escalate things and an all-out brawl was narrowly avoided.

Dana White reacts to post-fight scuffle

Dana White was not happy with the fact Pimblett was invited into the Octagon after the UFC 317 main event.

The UFC CEO was asked about a potential clash between the 155lb duo during his post-fight press conference.

“I don’t know who the hell let [Paddy] in there,” White responded.

“That should’ve never happened, let’s start there.

“I was already back in my room or that would’ve never happened.”
