Jon Jones sparks concern amongst fans days after UFC retirement following strange social media posts

Jon Jones has only been retired for a few days and he has already sparked concern amongst fans following some bizarre posts on social media.

This past Saturday, the UFC heavyweight saga between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall finally came to an end when Dana White announced that Jones has officially retired from the sport.

Although Jones’ retirement should’ve been a celebration of what has been an incredible career in the cage, fans hijacked his retirement post by continuing to troll him for ducking Aspinall.

Despite the heartfelt tributes pouring in from the likes of Anderson Silva and Khabib Nurmagomedov, Jones’ retirement was questioned by Demetrious Johnson who admitted he is confused why ‘Bones’ retired without fighting Aspinall.

Jones sparks concern after strange posts on social media

Just days following his retirement from the sport, news regarding legal matters surfaced online, making the timing of his retirement make more sense.

However, Jones did also announce that he has signed a huge new deal with Ketone-IQ, claiming that he is looking to create his ‘true legacy’ after fighting.

Despite that, with his UFC retirement now sinking in, Jones has sparked concern amongst the UFC fanbase this Wednesday after posting a storm of strange social media posts with no context.

“Change me by thinking about this riddle,” Jones first posted.

“The guy in the brown jacket,” he then said.

“Here, take my phone he went that way.

“If people start getting away with this, it’s gonna start a free-for-all,” Jones continued.

“Intelligence.

“I guess when you have a voice you should use it.”

Fans react to Jon Jones’ Twitter storm

This isn’t the first time the UFC star has sparked concern with his activity on social media, however, with there being no context surrounding his tweets, fans have been left confused.

“Conor McGregor vs Jon Jones for the undisputed ‘Hate Being Sober’ belt. International Fight Week. Book it right now,” one fan said.

“Someone needs to take his phone away,” another fan reacted.

“Bro is tweaking out,” a third fan said.

“He’s on that Liver King stuff,” another fan said.

Earlier this week, social media star Liver King went viral for calling Joe Rogan out for a grappling match as fans expressed their concern for his state during the callout.
