With a pro record of 11-1, there’s one opponent that Jake Paul still has a score to settle with.
Paul still has some big goals that he wants to achieve in the boxing world ahead of his return to the ring on June 28.
‘The Problem Child’ is set to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr after just missing out on a huge fight with Canelo Alvarez following a last minute change of direction.
The controversial star’s one and only loss came to Tommy Fury in 2023, where Paul earned a staggering amount of money even in defeat.
They have continued to go back and forth ever since their first encounter with the rivalry between Paul and Fury being far from over.

Tommy Fury expects to fight Jake Paul in a rematch in the next year but he’s not actively chasing it
Tommy Fury featured on the first episode of Eddie Hall’s new podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Beast, where he spoke about his history with Jake Paul.
Though their fight came down to a split decision, where Paul dropped his opponent in the final round, Fury believes that the knockdown was a slip, which should’ve been the only round that ‘The Problem Child’ won.
“There’s the jab there, knocked his wig nearly off,” Fury recalled. “I don’t know how that hair is staying on to be honest.”
Fury went on to say that while he isn’t actively pursuing the rematch having already beaten Paul, he believes that it’s the only fight that matters for his former foe.
He thinks that there’s a strong possibility that they face each other in the ring for a second time in the next year, with Paul recently echoing a similar sentiment.
“I think the Jake Paul fight, that’s always going to be there cuz there is a lot of history with that fight… I believe that fight, like he said a few weeks ago, I think that fight happens in the next 12 months.
“I’ll be ready for that fight and if he wants to try and change what happened the last time, he can try, but it ain’t going to work… No matter what he says, it’s a huge fight. It’s a huge fight.
“It makes sense for me. Makes sense for him. I ain’t pushing it, he knows where I am.”

Jake Paul recently named Tommy Fury in his six-man hitlist
If he’s able to get past Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 28, Jake Paul has some big-name opponents that he’s targeting.
Tommy Fury was one of the names that Paul mentioned in a video on Most Valuable Promotions’ YouTube channel, alongside the likes of KSI and Anthony Joshua.
While Fury may not be the biggest name of the bunch, the rematch would be huge for Paul in terms of proving that he has improved since their first encounter.
Evening the score with the only man to beat him would be a good launching pad for ‘The Problem Child’ to continue progressing onto even bigger and better names.
