UFC welterweight star Niko Price scored one of the most unique KOs of all time when he squared off against 6ft 3 boogeyman James Vick in 2019.
This coming Saturday, the biggest UFC event of the year takes place as UFC 317 headlines International Fight Week with a huge vacant lightweight title fight main event between Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira.
With it being the biggest event of the year, the card has been stacked from top to bottom, and the UFC flyweight title is also on the line in the co-main event.
Opening up the entire event is a welterweight clash between longtime contender Niko Price and undefeated prospect Jacobe Smith.

Niko Price scored one of the craziest KOs ever against 6ft 3 boogeyman
After pulling off a few spectacular performances and earning himself an extra $50,000, ‘The Hybrid’ was slowly climbing up the 170lb ranks.
And in 2019, he was matched up against one of the hardest hitters in the UFC in Geoff Neal but he subsequently lost the fight via TKO in round two.
Looking to rebound from his brutal loss, Price was then scheduled to fight 6ft 3 lightweight boogeyman James Vick who had opted to move up to welterweight.
Die-hard MMA fans know that Price is one of the most wild fighters in the UFC, and as soon as his fight against Vick began, the craziness quickly followed.
Early on, ‘The Hybrid’ put the pressure on Vick as he looked to impose himself on the unique giant. Just over a minute into the fight, Vick managed to put Price on his back where he looked to dominate from top guard.
Looking to posture up and stack Price’s legs, Vick made his way back to his feet before looking to land a heavy ground-and-pound shot. However, Price caught him with an absolutely devastating up-kick which instantly put his lights out and folded him.
Price brutally followed up with some huge punches from off his back before Herb Dean quickly ran in and put a stop to the fight.
Price scored another unique KO before beating Vick
Despite the complete uniqueness of the KO, this wasn’t the first time ‘The Hybrid’ had shocked UFC fans by scoring a bizarre KO.
Just a year before laying Vick out cold, Price scored a terrifying KO over Randy Brown when they clashed at UFC Fight Night 133.
‘Rude Boy’ Brown was in a dominant position controlling over Price on the ground but ‘The Hybrid’ transitioned his position and began landing huge hammer fists from his back before putting Brown out cold.
