Joaquin Buckley couldn’t believe what Kamaru Usman managed to do in their fight.
On Saturday evening, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ returned to winning ways, overcoming his welterweight rival at UFC Atlanta.
Understandably, Buckley was devastated to lose to Usman. However, rather than wallow in sadness, he’s laughing and joking about the result.
He even praised Usman during an interview.

Despite their battle taking place just days ago, Joaquin Buckley has just joined Kamaru Usman on an episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast.
During the show, the pair chatted, with ‘New Mansa’ telling the man that beat him that he couldn’t believe he was able to secure a takedown under the circumstances.
Buckley exclaimed: “You shot a beautiful double leg, bro. And I ain’t gonna lie, with you having no knees, it’s crazy, because you launched yourself like Superman. That’s crazy.”
The comment prompted Usman, and his co-host, Henry Cejudo, to erupt in laughter.

The victory was absolutely massive for Usman, who’s proven he’s still got a lot left in the tank.
Now, with that being the case, he’s being chased by fighters who’d love to claim his scalp, with Daniel Cormier worried about the former champion taking on one particular threat.
