Dana White once again sat cageside as one of the most brutal fights in The Ultimate Fighter history took place this past Tuesday.
This past Tuesday, The Ultimate Fighter Season 33 continued as Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen continue to clash as coaches on the reality TV series.
In episode three last Tuesday, bantamweights were hailed by UFC boss Dana White for putting on one of the best fights he’s ever seen, which ended in a brutal first round finish.
And episode four once again had Dana White on the edge of his seat as welterweights went to absolute war, painting the entire canvas red during their bloodbath.

Chael Sonnen gave TUF opponent $12,500 after his fighter missed weight
Episode four involved a slight bit of controversy including Irish fighter Andreeas Binder and his opponent Jeff Creighton.
Just a day before their fight, Binder made his coach, Sonnen, aware that he wasn’t going to be able to make 170lbs as he had already finished his weight cut and still weighed 176lbs.
With the fight in jeopardy, ‘The Bad Guy’ opted to call Cormier in an attempt to broker a deal to somehow make him agree to letting Creighton fight despite Binder being astonishingly overweight.
“This is a potential disaster, Dana White doesn’t forgive guys that miss weight on The Ultimate Fighter,” Sonnen said.
“DC, it’s Chael. We’re gonna miss weight today… He’s at 176lbs, he can hold it but he’s not gonna be able to lose any more,” he continued.
Cormier admitted that he was opting with not allowing the fight to go ahead as he didn’t want his fighter to fight someone 6lbs heavier, however, Sonnen then brought compensation into the equation.
“$1000 per lb and it will be brought to the weigh-ins in a white envelope, he will have it today,” Sonnen offered.
“Jeff, here’s my pitch, we’re not going to make weight, he’s 176lbs and he’s done, he’s not gonna be an ounce lighter. You can pass on the match… We’re offering you $1000 per lb missed, you give us 5lbs we’ll give you $5000,” Sonnen negotiated.
Creighton came back with a counter offer of $2500 per lb missed which Sonnen subsequently accepted and went on to hand him a white envelope with $12500 during the weigh-ins.
Dana White reacted after the fight turned into brutal bloodbath
After accepting Sonnen’s money, the fight went ahead and turned out to be one of the most brutal fights in Ultimate Fighter history.
After controlling the majority of round one, Binder was caught with a sharp elbow towards the end of the round which opened up a huge cut on his forehead.
And then in round two, Creighton utterly dominated him on the ground as he began leaking blood all over the Octagon, covering both fighters from head to toe.
“The cut opens up on Andreeas’ head and that s— started squirting. By the end, both of these guys were covered in blood. Look how much this guy is bleeding. Look at all the blood on the mat,” White said.
Following the utter brutality of round two, the judges deemed Creighton the winner over two rounds and the fight wasn’t taken to a third round, much to the surprise of both Cormier and Sonnen, who both thought Binder won round one despite suffering the cut.
