UFC 317 is the next big event in the MMA calendar, and a new champion will be crowned in a massive main event fight.
The event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 28, 2025, just weeks after the hugely successful UFC 316 event.
With a new champion being decided in the main event, the show is guaranteed to be filled with excitement from the top of the card down.
Here’s everything you need to know about the full fight card for UFC 317.

Ilia Topuria vs Charles Oliveira
Just months after Topuria vacated the UFC Featherweight championship, he will be in the main event against a former champion for the unattached belt.
This is because the most recent belt holder, Islam Makhachev, vacated the UFC Lightweight title, mimicking Topuria to jump up a weight class in pursuit of more gold.
This guarantees there will be a new champion at UFC 317, with the undefeated Georgian the favorite to become a two-weight champion.
However, Oliveira could match a historic record if he can force Topuria to tap out and become a two-time UFC Lightweight champion in the process.
Alexandre Pantoja vs Kai Kara-France
The co-main event of the bout pits Alexandre Pantojo against Kai Kara-France in a defense of his UFC Flyweight title.
Pantojo is one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC, despite dominating with four title fight wins in a row.
The Kiwi opponent can be a dangerous fighter, but recent losses to Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi will not give him confidence going into UFC 317.
“The Cannibal” will be the favorite in his fight over Kara-France, but anything can happen in the UFC once the bell rings.
Brandon Royval vs Joshua Van
On the undercard, a second Flyweight contest pits the top contender in the division against an impressive up-and-coming martial artist.
Brandon Royval is the #1 ranked Flyweight contender, but a loss to champion Pantojo pushed him to the back of the line.
However, two wins in a row have launched him back towards a rematch with the champion, but he’ll have to go through Joshua Van in what should be a tough fight.
The Myanmar-born fighter is the first Burmese fighter in UFC history, and with just one loss in the promotion to his name, he will be aiming for his third win in 2025 at UFC 317.
He fights just weeks after Van’s impressive win at UFC 316, which helped buy his mother a house.
Beneil Dariush vs Renato Moicano
With the Lightweight champion being crowned in the main event, two top-ten contenders will fight on the undercard with a view to a future title shot.
#9 and #10 ranked Beneil Dariush and Renato Moicano will battle in the octagon at UFC 317 in what should be an exciting fight.
Moicano lasted less than a round against Makhachev in his last fight, ruining his four-fight win streak, which included two TKOs and one submission victory.
This will give Dariush hope, also, recent first-round losses in his last two fights make it likely that this fight will end quickly and with fireworks.
UFC 317 prelim fights
Four fights have been announced for the prelims, most notably Jack Hermansson’s bout against Brazilian fighter Gregory Rodrigues.
The veteran Hermansson has spent nearly a decade in the UFC, but a win last February over Joe Pyfer showed he still has a lot to give.
Elsewhere, Hyder Amil faces Jose Delgado in a Featherweight contest, while the only women’s fight pits Flyweight contenders Viviane Araujo against Tracy Cortez.
The final prelim fight is another Lightweight contest, where Terrance McKinney is expected to beat Viacheslav Borshchev to open the preliminary event.
UFC 317 early prelims
Three fights have been announced for the early prelims. These include Payton Talbott’s fight with Felipe Lima, as well as Jhonata Diniz’s heavyweight clash with Alvin Hines.
Finally, Niki Price takes on Jacobe Smith in a Welterweight fight to kick off the UFC 317 event.
