Justin Gaethje has assembled his ideal UFC super card which includes some of the sport’s biggest stars ever.
Justin Gaethje last stepped into the UFC Octagon earlier this year at UFC 313 when he once again defeated Rafael Fiziev in a big lightweight clash.
Following his win, ‘The Highlight’ believed that he would be next in line to fight Islam Makhachev for the 155lb title after Makhachev highlighted him as his ideal next opponent.
Despite that, Gaethje was snubbed after Makhachev vacated the title which has left him seething and even considering retirement if he isn’t promised a title shot for his next fight.

Justin Gaethje creates UFC super card including Conor McGregor, Jon Jones and more
The 36-year-old has been involved in some of the greatest UFC events of all time and is widely considered as the most exciting fighter to ever step foot in the UFC Octagon.
And with that, during his time on the sidelines, the former UFC interim lightweight champion has created his own UFC super card, including the likes of Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey, and more.
“First feature fight is going to be Ronda Rousey’s third fight in the UFC vs Amanda’s (Nunes) like sixth fight in the UFC. Probably Amanda (wins),” Gaethje started on The Makeshift Podcast.
Rousey and Amanda Nunes clashed back in 2016 but at that point, ‘Rowdy’ Ronda was at the end of her career and past her prime.
“The second feature bout is going to be, it’s got to be good. It has to be Khabib (Nurmagomedov) vs Conor (McGregor). Khabib vs Conor. I probably f—– myself (by not putting it co-main) but there’s better.
“Co-main is (Daniel) Cormier vs (Jon) Jones. I would never do something and not try and make money, yeah.
“The main event is a four way death match with me, (Dustin) Poirier, (Max) Holloway, and (Islam) Makhachev, because us three could definitely f— him up real quick and then we’ll see (who wins). I love Vegas, Vegas is great, f— it I’ll take it to Vegas, in the Raiders stadium in front of 90,000 people,” Gaethje continued.
Gaethje misses out on key UFC 317 role to fellow contender
Although Gaethje has stated that he will retire from the sport if he isn’t given a title shot in his next fight, he may find himself behind fellow contender, Arman Tsarukyan.
Tsarukyan recently revealed that he will be weighing in as the backup for the vacant lightweight title fight at UFC 317, potentially guaranteeing himself the next shot.
And with that, he prematurely congratulated Gaethje on his retirement, hinting that ‘The Highlight’ won’t get the next 155lb title shot.
