Joaquin Buckley savagely responds to Israel Adesanya with UFC star he should hate more than him

Joaquin Buckley made a hater out of Israel Adesanya at UFC Atlanta.

Riding a six-fight win streak, the #7 UFC Welterweight contender fell short in the headliner of UFC Atlanta where he battled former champion and pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman.

Usman turned in a vintage performance over Buckley and outwrestled him to a dominant decision victory.

Usman had the support of Africa’s former UFC champs Francis Ngannou and Israel Adesanya, who let the world know just how much he hated the ‘annoying’ Buckley in a recent upload to his YouTube channel.

Days removed from his main event loss, Buckley has caught wind of Adesanya’s comments.

Joaquin Buckley says Israel Adesanya should hate on Dricus du Plessis, not him

Adesanya had quite a few rivals throughout his middleweight title reigns, such as Robert Whittaker, Alex Pereira and Sean Strickland.

One of Adesanya’s greatest rivals didn’t emerge until later in his career as South African champion Dricus du Plessis defeated ‘The Last Stylebender’ in a storied grudge match last summer at UFC 305.

Buckley used du Plessis to issue a savage response to Adesanya.

“Hate the farmer that took yo belt n—- not me,” Buckley wrote on ‘X‘ on Monday.

“Stand on business bout Africa or China or wherever the f— you from b—-.”

Buckley referred to du Plessis as a ‘boer’, which is related to the Dutch people that settled in South Africa in the 1600s.

A war of words began between du Plessis and Adesanya after du Plessis claimed he’d be an African champion in 2023.

Gilbert Burns predicted the way Kamaru Usman beat Joaquin Buckley

Nearly four years since his last win and two years since his last fight, Usman was counted out by many against the younger contender Buckley.

Top contender Sean Brady believed Buckley to be ‘too young’ and ‘too physical’ for Usman, picking him to win by unanimous decision.

A former foe of Usman and Brady, ranked UFC Welterweight Gilbert Burns picked Usman over Buckley on Saturday.

Burns expected Usman to pour on the pressure and mix in his wrestling like his teammate Logan Storley did in 2018, and Usman did just that.

Buckley was taken down by Usman four times in their fight and controlled for nearly 13 minutes of their 25-minute fight.
