Joaquin Buckley struggled to get in the building for his second UFC main event.
The surging welterweight contender fought former champion Kamaru Usman in the UFC Atlanta headliner on Saturday night.
However, their fight was temporarily under threat because security didn’t know who he was.
Just a couple hours before his fight, Joaquin Buckley shared footage on social media that showed him and his team trying and failing to get inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Buckley admitted he was arriving late before he tried to rush through UFC security.
‘New Mansa’ revealed he was fighting in the main event, but the people in charge didn’t recognize him.
After a lengthy chat with a police officer at the door, Buckley and co. walked away from the entrance.
“Crazy Work But We on the way Now Not Missing Out On This Main Event #TakeTheThrone,” Buckley captioned the viral video.
Thankfully, Buckley managed to make his way into the venue via a different entrance point.

Things didn’t get much better for Buckley once he got inside the building.
Usman mauled him on the floor for the majority of their main event matchup at UFC Atlanta.
Buckley tried to rally in the fifth frame, but he was unable to take out Usman like Edwards did.
As a result, the ex-champion snapped his three-year losing streak with a unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) win.
