Dana White laughed when UFC legend caught Jake Paul in a guillotine during boxing clash

When Jake Paul and Nate Diaz clashed in 2023, it was Diaz who got the last laugh, which left Dana White pretty happy.

In just a few weeks’ time, Jake Paul returns to the boxing ring to take on former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a huge clash in California.

‘The Problem Child’ has come a long way in his boxing career from being bloodied up by a YouTuber to leaving former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley flat out on the canvas.

In his last outing, the YouTuber turned boxer caused worldwide controversy when he dragged Mike Tyson out of retirement to take part in one of the biggest fights in boxing history.

Jake Paul failed to finish Nate Diaz in huge boxing clash

Over his short career as a professional boxer, Paul has continued to receive criticism for the opponent he handpicks to take on.

However, UFC fans were quietly confident that he would get humbled when he picked Nate Diaz as his next opponent in 2023, following his first career loss against Tommy Fury.

At UFC 279, Diaz made his final appearance under the UFC banner defeating Tony Ferguson and went on to pursue opportunities outside of the promotion, with the first one being a fight against Paul.

Unfortunately, from the outset it became clear that it was going to be a tough night for Diaz who just didn’t pack enough of a punch to cause a threat to ‘The Problem Child’. Despite that, though, he managed to survive a huge barrage in round one.

Despite beginning to wear on Paul, Diaz was dropped in round five after a big check left hook landed on his temple. Somehow, Diaz made it to the end of the fight, showcasing his impenetrable heart.

Although he was dominated throughout 10 rounds, it was the UFC legend that got the last laugh as with just 15 seconds left of the fight, Diaz caught Paul in a guillotine, much to the amusement of the crowd and UFC boss, Dana White.

White and Paul have feuded for several years and Paul has even labeled the UFC boss as a ‘clout chaser’ during their online spats.

“Ha Ha! I saw that on the internet, yeah,” White laughed when asked about Diaz’s guillotine on Paul.

“For a kid pushing 40 years old, fighting a guy four weight classes bigger than him in boxing and two in MMA, and going the distance, at his age against a f—— 20 something year old kid, so far he’s fared the best, he looked good, I’m happy for him,” White continued to say of Diaz.
