Dana White drops huge announcement about ‘once in a lifetime’ Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight

Dana White has revealed how fans can watch his first-ever boxing event.

Earlier this year, the UFC boss teamed up with Turki Alalshikh to launch a new boxing league.

Dana White‘s first order of business will be to promote one of the biggest fights of all time.

The MMA mogul will oversee an undisputed super-middleweight world title clash between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford on September 13.

On Tuesday, Dana White revealed how fans will be able to watch the biggest boxing bout of 2025.

“Turki wants to make the biggest fights that the fans want to see in boxing and this is right up my alley,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Are you kidding me that the first boxing fight I’m going to get to promote is Canelo vs Crawford?

“It’s literally a once in a lifetime fight. Live on Saturday, September 13, streaming globally on Netflix, two of the GREATEST boxers in the sport will meet in a historic fight from Las Vegas.”

Dana White clarified his role at UFC 316

There has been some confusion about Dana White’s role in Turki Alalshikh’s latest super fight.

Rumors of a rift spread when the boxing newcomer was left off a recently publicized list of Canelo vs Crawford promoters.

However, speaking to media including Bloody Elbow at UFC 316, White cleared things up.

“I’m going to tell you what’s awesome, man,” he beamed.

“There’s a lot of f—ed up things about boxing, but they don’t say s—. I mean, nobody talks, it’s the most amazing thing. If we sign a deal I’ve got to f—ing get out my phone quick and say it because 90,000 people will be out there talking about it.

“These guys don’t talk. I’m promoting the fight. I’ll let you guys know when it’s time to let you know.”
