Khaos Williams burst onto the world stage with a sensational performance in his UFC debut.
In recent years, the heavy-handed American has become a boogeyman at welterweight where he has scored vicious knockout wins over Abdul Razak Alhassan, Miguel Baeza, and Carlston Harris.
Khaos Williams boasted a 10-1 record when he got his big shot at UFC 247 in February 2020.
Dana White clearly thought highly of the 170lb debutant as he was matched up with a nine-fight UFC veteran who had won three straight Octagon bouts.

Khaos Williams won UFC debut with 27-second KO
Alex Morono entered his fight with Khaos Williams as a heavy favorite to get the win.
One look at his resume was enough to understand why he was fancied to beat the UFC newcomer.
In a massive shock, Morono got stopped with strikes just 27 seconds into the first round at UFC 247.
Williams caught his opponent with a flush hook as they exchanged punches in the middle of the Octagon.
Morono tumbled backwards to the cage wall, where he ate several nasty follow-up punches.
An uppercut dropped him to the floor before Williams hammered his head into the fence with ground strikes.
Thankfully, the referee stepped in to save Morono from being rendered completely unconscious.
As Williams sprinted away to celebrate his upset win, doctors checked on Morono, who looked like he had no clue what had just hit him.
What’s next for Khaos Williams?
Khaos Williams got choked out cold by Gabriel Bonfim at UFC Vegas 102 in February.
He’ll look to return to winning ways against promotional newcomer Andreas Gustafsson at UFC 316.
They’ll throw down during the undercard of Merab Dvalishvili vs Sean O’Malley 2 on Saturday night.
A win would put Williams back on track for a shot at a ranked opponent in the not-too-distant future.
Gustafsson will try to cause an upset in his UFC debut, as Williams did more than five years ago.
