Despite current frustrations, the fans still showed up to meet Jon Jones during one of his recent side quests.
While there are some people who believe it is time for the UFC to strip the heavyweight champion, there are still supporters of Jones who are defending him.
‘Bones’ doesn’t appear to be preparing to start a fight camp with all of his recent social media output showing him having a great time away from fighting.
Jones even made reference to the ‘doing everything but fighting’ criticisms following a recent announcement of one of his latest ventures.
His latest post saw the consensus greatest of all time compliment his fellow UFC champion, rather than Jones lashing out at Tom Aspinall like he has in the past.

Jon Jones mocks petition to strip him of the title and thanks Tom Aspinall for free promotion
During Jon Jones’ recent trip to Thailand, it was announced that the UFC heavyweight champion would be coaching a seminar at the world renowned Bangtao gym in Phuket.
Along with a ticket providing the opportunity to meet him in person, the seminar was promoted by Bangtao as Jones ‘teaching techniques that made him one of the GOATS’.
Having already been referred to as the biggest seminar in the history of the gym, it’s not surprising that the event performed very well given this rare opportunity to learn from a fighter like ‘Bones’.
Jones reflected on the experience by posting on social media shortly after he completed the seminar.
The 37-year-old specifically made reference to how many of the participants had made the trip over from the UK, thanking Tom Aspinall for all of the promotion that he’s given him.
Though he went on to seriously thank everyone that showed up to train alongside him, ‘Bones’ quickly went back to making fun of the ongoing heavyweight saga.
He encouraged fans to sign the petition to strip him of his title, making reference to the huge amount of support and attention it has received.

Tom Aspinall is having his own fun with Jon Jones’ recent trip to Thailand
Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall has been spending some time with one of the biggest personalities in combat sports today, Craig Jones.
It was only a matter of time before the elite grappler started making references to Jon Jones while he was in the presence of the interim champion.
In a video posted on Craig Jones’ Instagram, he joked about a video of Jon Jones in Thailand where he rode on the back of a bike and grabbed the driver’s hair.
Aspinall featured in the skit as he tried to go about his business before his bike ride was hijacked.
Jon Jones responded to the video by commenting “rent free” in a comment beneath the post.
