Nate Diaz has shared his side of the story after a recent trip to Thailand went haywire.
The UFC fan favorite traveled to Southeast Asia to coach opposite Jon Jones on a Russian reality TV show.
Jon Jones vs Nate Diaz was scrapped after a massive brawl on the set of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ knockoff.
‘Bones’ kept filming for the show, while Nate Diaz made the best out of a bad situation after bailing.

Nate Diaz explains why he quit reality TV show
Nate Diaz and his team went exploring Thailand and Hong Kong after leaving the TV show.
On Wednesday evening, the 40-year-old dropped a vlog documenting his recent trip abroad.
The 39-minute YouTube video included a very brief explanation of why he walked away from filming with Jon Jones.
“We’re out here in Phuket, Thailand,” Diaz began.
“We came out here to film a reality show with Jon Jones.
“I was looking forward to hanging out with Jones, the team, and everybody.
“It didn’t work out because we had to hop. We ain’t f—— with any of those Russians.
“They ain’t f—— with me, that’s what it is.”
What’s next for Nate Diaz?
Nate Diaz brought his legendary 15-year UFC run to an end in 2022.
Since then, he’s transitioned to boxing for fights with Jake Paul and BMF rival Jorge Masvidal.
Now, Diaz has named a three-man hitlist as he eyes a return to MMA’s premier promotion.
“I plan on going back to the UFC,” he said on the HJR Podcast.
“If they have me, I would like to go back and f—– whoop someone’s ass there.
“I’m not fighting in there because there’s nobody to fight really. It’s kinda slow rolling.
“Whenever [McGregor] is back. Me and him for sure got unfinished business. Got to happen.”
“It’s the most entertaining s— there is,” Diaz added about the BMF title. “I hope you know you’re wearing my belt.
“Those are the guys right there who I wanna fight like Max Holloway. But, besides that, I would like to fight other guys really good too…
“[Ilia] Topuria, he’s really good. But he’s smaller than me.”
