Nate Diaz adds surprise fourth fighter to his list of potential opponents for UFC comeback

Nate Diaz’s list of potential UFC comeback opponents has just gotten a bit bigger.

The fan-favorite quit MMA’s premier promotion after choking out Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in September 2022.

Since then, Nate Diaz has transitioned to boxing for fights with Jake Paul and BMF rival Jorge Masvidal.

Now the 40-year-old seems like he’s ready to return to the UFC, where he previously enjoyed a legendary 15-year run.

Nate Diaz fancies Belal Muhammad fight

Nate Diaz recently went traveling in Southeast Asia after filming a TV show with Jon Jones.

The younger brother of Nick Diaz documented his trip in a 39-minute vlog shared on YouTube.

It shows him and his team taking in UFC 315, which saw a new welterweight champion crowned.

While watching Jack Della Maddalena dethrone Belal Muhammad, Diaz called one of them out.

“I’ll fight Belal’s a—,” he said.

Diaz added as the UFC 315 main event progressed: “I think I’d beat the s— out of Belal Muhammad.”

Nate Diaz’s three-man hitlist

Nate Diaz has named a three-man hitlist as he eyes a return to MMA’s premier promotion.

“I plan on going back to the UFC,” he said on the HJR Podcast.

“If they have me, I would like to go back and f—– whoop someone’s ass there.

“I’m not fighting in there because there’s nobody to fight really. It’s kinda slow rolling.

“Whenever [McGregor] is back. Me and him for sure got unfinished business. Got to happen.”

“It’s the most entertaining s— there is,” Diaz added about the BMF title. “I hope you know you’re wearing my belt.

“Those are the guys right there who I wanna fight like Max Holloway. But, besides that, I would like to fight other guys really good too…

“[Ilia] Topuria, he’s really good. But he’s smaller than me.”
