Fans have predicted a vicious knockout for Ilia Topuria ahead of his upcoming title fight against Charles Oliveira.
Following Dana White’s announcement that Islam Makhachev has vacated his lightweight title, it was revealed that Ilia Topuria will take on Charles Oliveira for the vacant title at UFC 317.
‘El Matador’ was hopeful of a title fight against Makhachev when he vacated his featherweight title, but after Belal Muhammad’s welterweight title loss, the Russian’s opportunity to move up finally came.
Ahead of their clash on June 28, Oliveira has offered a bold prediction for their fight, claiming that he will finish Topuria.

Fans react to new Ilia Topuria training footage
Just under a month out from their clash, Topuria made a huge change to his fight camp, parting ways with his long-time coaches, the Climent brothers.
Following his split from the Climent brothers, Topuria has been offered some help by former world champion boxer Roy Jones Jr.
Despite that, the Spaniard posted a video of himself and his boxing coach drilling some combinations just four weeks out from his UFC 317 title fight.
“Bro looks in incredible shape. Olives RIP,” one fan reacted.
“It would be one of the most legendary 3-fight win streaks in the history of the UFC,” another fan claimed.
“Vicious KO incoming,” a third fan said.
“Oliveira is getting knocked out,” another fan reacted.
Despite not yet claiming a second title in a second weight class, Topuria has plans of eventually moving up to welterweight to become the first fighter ever to win a title in three different weight classes.
“Hypes me up more and more every day. I think the people who wanted Ilia vs Islam can’t realize how big Ilia vs Charles is,” another fan suggested.
Charles Oliveira opens up about the toughest moment of his career
‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira has been at the top of the lightweight division for the last decade, working hard to knock the reputation of being a ‘quitter’.
Having spent so much time at the top, the Brazilian recently opened up about the toughest moment of his career, when he was stripped of his title before fighting Justin Gaethje.
At UFC 317, the Brazilian has the chance to make UFC history by becoming the first fighter ever to become a two-time UFC lightweight champion.
