Sean Strickland prides himself on being the toughest and grittiest fighter in every MMA gym.
However, the former UFC middleweight champion appears to have met his match in Mike Perry.
‘Platinum’ thanked the UFC fan favorite after footage of their recent spar went viral on Tuesday.
Now, Sean Strickland has shared a rave review of his time with the BKFC ‘King of Violence’.

Sean Strickland admits Mike Perry is ‘tougher than me’
Strickland was seriously impressed by Perry’s ability to take punishment and keep moving forward.
The 34-year-old openly admitted he came up against a ‘tougher’ man as he reviewed their spar.
“The reason why I f— with Mike Perry so much, he is a f—— savage,” Strickland said in a video shared to his Instagram story.
“I wish you could’ve seen the first three minutes of that round.
“I am f—— drilling him with shots, rocking his head back.
“Mind you, he’s not running away from me, he’s coming f—— forward and eating every ounce of these shots.
“There’s some guys, and Perry is one of them, they will f—— die just to land one punch on you.
“The guy is a f—— savage. Way f—— tougher than me.”
Sean Strickland wants Belal Muhammad next
Strickland suffered a second loss to current middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis, who brutalized his nose en route to a unanimous decision victory when rematched at UFC 312 in February.
Rather than focus on working his way back into title contention, Strickland has set his sights on a welterweight.
“I mean, Belal [Muhammad] would be a fun fight, that’d be a fun one,” he told Helen Yee.
“Belal, you should finally sack up, dog. This is it, you can finally stack the f— up, dude, all that s— you talked, we can finally make it happen.
“You lost your belt, you kind of got f—– up. I got f—– up, we should make that fight happen, Belal.
“That would be a good one, right? You can come up to middleweight. He said he would [come up to middleweight]. All that s— he talked on Instagram like ‘I’m gonna come fight you, I’m gonna do this’, now you can you p—-.”
Belal Muhammad has since called out Kamaru Usman, so Strickland’s search for a comeback opponent will continue.
