Jon Jones has put his feud with Tom Aspinall aside and picked him as part of his fantasy MMA team.
The UFC heavyweight saga between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall continues to spark on and despite Aspinall’s recent hints at an announcement, we are seemingly no closer to an official fight date.
And because of that, fans have continued to get restless and have even started a petition to get Jones stripped of his title, with the petition having now been signed by over 100,000 people.
Jones is currently in Thailand where he is filming for a Russian reality TV show, which is the equivalent of The Ultimate Fighter. He was set to bizarrely face off against Nate Diaz, but Diaz left the show after a huge brawl erupted.

Jones picks Aspinall in $10 fantasy MMA team
Despite ‘Bones’ having made Aspinall wait this entire time with no guarantee that they’ll even fight, their feud that started off respectful has turned somewhat toxic.
In his time off from competing in the UFC, the 37-year-old champion started a new venture and became the co-owner of Dirty Boxing Championship, a new combat sports promotion.
This past Tuesday evening on Instagram, the Dirty Boxing Championship account attempted to spark some conversation and engagement with their fans when they posted a graphic asking fans to build their DBX team for $10, with different fighters coming at different prices.
The top tier was made up of Jones, Mike Perry and Yoel Romero, all coming in at $5. Then in the second tier was Ilia Topuria, Alex Pereira and Max Holloway all for $3. And then making up the third tier for $2 was Aspinall, Paddy Pimblett and Conor McGregor.
“Yoel, Alex, Tom,” Jones picked his $10 fantasy team.
The UFC heavyweight champion also picked Alex Pereira, who he was hopeful of fighting at one point. Despite that, the two agreed to train together and Pereira reportedly flew out to Thailand recently to train with the champion.
Jon Jones’ biggest rival believes Jones will fight Aspinall
Although at this point it seems unlikely that Jones will fight the Brit, his biggest ever rival, Daniel Cormier, believes the fight will happen because of one key thing.
Cormier believes that Jones’ ego won’t allow him to walk away without fighting Aspinall and that he will take on the interim champion before he retires from the sport.
