Tom Aspinall showed just how dangerous a kick from a top UFC star can be as he put down YouTuber Angry Ginge in a new video.
Aspinall and Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, have been partaking in a series of clips where the UFC interim heavyweight champion shows the social media star how to train for MMA. Last week, he showed him how to grapple, with this week’s video being about kicking.
Ginge showed an impressive ability to take punishment, even landing himself in the top three of Aspinall’s victims just shy of Tommy Fury. However, he still was floored twice by his fellow Brit, once going at just 30 per cent of his power.

Tom Aspinall floors Angry Ginge in leg kick challenge
After their initial video together garnered almost half a million views in a week, Tom Aspinall and Angry Ginge reunited yesterday for another challenge. It’s a regular segment on the UFC champion’s channel that he will take non-MMA fighters and check how they react to a vicious leg kick.
To the untrained eye, leg kicks can often seem to be ineffective when watching top level UFC fights. But Aspinall shows celebrities and athletes just how painful they are, and just how tough fighters are to take them.
With Ginge, he showed him increasing levels starting from five per cent up to about 30 per cent, which floored the social media star. He then allowed the YouTuber to kick him at 100 per cent, ranking it about a four out of ten in terms of how he has been hit.
Following that example, Aspinall threw one more kick at just over 50 per cent. That also sent him to the ground, with the UFC star telling him that he would need some ice. He then got to feel a 100 per cent kick with a large pad to absorb most of the power.
Tom Aspinall is currently waiting for Jon Jones super-fight
For the best part of a year, Aspinall has been essentially resigned to training and making YouTube videos as he waits for his chance at undisputed UFC gold. He has been in pursuit of Jon Jones for years, but it seems the legendary two-division champion isn’t interested in making the fight.

Jones won the heavyweight belt in March of 2023, and has defended it just once since against an aging Stipe Miocic who immediately retired after his KO loss. Meanwhile, Aspinall claimed interim gold in November of 2023 and even defended his belt last summer, before Jones had ever put his on the line.
It is unclear what exactly is going to happen atop the division, with Jones making a number of claims about his future in recent weeks. He is currently shooting a Russian reality TV show.
