Jon Jones has joked that he suffered a cut to his lip after being kicked in one of his daily ‘fights’ with Hasbulla.
The UFC heavyweight champion continues to feature in viral clips with the 3’4″ influencer with new videos emerging regularly. He is currently filming a Russian reality TV show, which appears to feature Hasbulla for some reason and recently saw Nate Diaz leave following a mass brawl between teams.
Jones is supposedly in talks for a world title super-fight with interim champion Tom Aspinall. However, he doesn’t seem too interested in the bout and continues to mock the Brit for waiting what will end up being over a year to face him.
Jon Jones jokes he suffered ‘injury’ during daily ‘fights’ with Hasbulla
While filming a reality show for ALF Global that has been called a Russian version of The Ultimate Fighter, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been spending a lot of time with Hasbulla. The pair appear to get on well, albeit with the much bigger man at times treating the 22-year-old like a child.
“Oh man, me and Hasbulla have been having a great time,” Jones laughed during an interview with Red Corner MMA. “We fight almost every single day, right now I’ve got a bloody lip, he may have kicked me in the mouth.
“But we have good times… Absolutely he is very strong, very strong and he knows how to fight. We have fun.”
Jon Jones’ UFC return plans are unknown to fans – and Tom Aspinall
Despite Dana White’s regular insistence that a fight announcement for Jones vs Aspinall is imminent, it appears that neither competitor is on that same page. The Brit remains training, while it appears that Jones is doing anything but fighting his great rival.

After seemingly backtracking on retirement plans after his win over Stipe Miocic, Jones told fans on X this month that he has ‘told the UFC his plans’. However, this information hasn’t made its way to the public just yet.
In fact, it appears that it hasn’t got to Aspinall either who continues to wait for confirmation of his next move. The former boxer last defended his interim belt at UFC 304 in July, and since has been forced to wait for Jones.
