Throughout both Nate and Nick Diaz’s careers, controversy and chaos has followed them around.
Earlier this month, it was bizarrely announced that Nate Diaz would take on Jon Jones in a Russian Reality TV series, which is the equivalent of The Ultimate Fighter.
Despite that, with controversy seemingly following Nate Diaz around wherever he goes, his appearance on the reality TV series was cut short after a huge brawl erupted in the house between his team and Dagestani fighters.
Diaz’s team claimed that their historic feuds with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Khamzat Chimaev caused the altercation in Thailand.

Nate Diaz and Dana White almost came to blows in nightclub clash
One of the biggest controversies throughout both Nate and Nick Diaz‘s careers is when Nick was suspended for five years for a positive marijuana test.
The lengthy suspension caused so much uproar that Ronda Rousey even launched an emotional defense on stage at a UFC press conference, calling Diaz’s suspension ‘unfair’.
However, it was early in Nate’s UFC career when he and UFC boss Dana White almost came to blows during a heated exchange in a nightclub.
The Stockton bad boy explained that it was after his teammate Gilbert Melendez competed on The Ultimate Fighter against Anthony Pettis in 2014.
“I almost beat up Dana White in a club one time here too. You should’ve seen it, he was talking s–, did he tell you about it,” Diaz said during an interview with ESPN MMA.
“He was f—— talking s— and I was arguing with him, I was mad at him, I shouldn’t have been mad at him, it was a long time ago, when Gilbert did that Ultimate Fighter (with Pettis).
“Everyone had gotten off the show and we went to the club and Dana and all of them were having a big after party and Dana was all f—–, and he was like ‘What’s up motherf—–‘.
“And I was like ‘F— the UFC’, and he was like ‘What do you want?’ and I was like, ‘What the f— do you think I want? More money and better fights than everyone here’, it’s because I was never on for a title shot,” Diaz continued.
Dana White commented on his near clash with Diaz
Not long after Diaz told the story of his near clash with the UFC boss, White was asked about it during a press conference.
“Allegedly, allegedly. We were drinking,” White laughed off the question.
Despite the constant controversies that have surrounded both Nick and Nate’s careers, White has always been an avid supporter of the Stockton brawlers and they will go down as two of the biggest stars the sport has ever seen.
