Ian Machado Garry brutally blasts Jack Della Maddalena as he compares him to ugly action figure

Ian Machado Garry has hilariously blasted the newly crowned UFC welterweight champion, Jack Della Maddalena, comparing him to an ugly action figure.

Earlier this month at UFC 315, Jack Della Maddalena brought an end to Belal Muhammad‘s short reign as the welterweight champion, dominating him in Canada and picking up the unanimous decision win.

In attendance was 170lb star, Ian Machado Garry, who weighed in as a backup for the main event just weeks after picking up a win over Carlos Prates at UFC Kansas City.

After weighing in as the backup in an attempt to benefit from a title shot, the Irishman has admitted that he would do so again to put himself in pole position at welterweight.

Ian Machado Garry rips into Jack Della Maddalena with action figure comparison

Unfortunately for Machado Garry, he will likely have a while to wait before he is given a title shot, as Della Maddalena’s first title defense is expected to come against Islam Makhachev.

Ahead of UFC 315, Della Maddalena made some comments about Machado Garry’s son, which the Irishman responded to by labeling the Australian ‘immature’.

However, in an attempt to rip into the newly crowned welterweight champion, the 27-year-old hilariously compared Della Maddalena to an ugly action-figure in a video posted to his social media.

“I’m in a comic book shop here in England, and I am shocked, never in my life have I seen the UFC move an action figure as fast as they have, Jack Della Maddalena mate, I am so proud of you, look at that. World champ and you’ve got your f—— action figure. Good on you pal. Very proud of you, good job,” Machado Garry said as he held up a Sloth Goonies action figure.

Jack Della Maddalena has already returned to training following title win

Despite potentially nursing a few injuries following his incredible five-round war, Della Maddalena has already returned to training ahead of his potential clash against Islam Makhachev.

Although there is not an official date set yet for their title clash, October is the most likely date for the title fight, with the UFC scheduled to return to Abu Dhabi.

The Australian was hopeful of bringing the promotion back to his home country, however, Makhachev’s manager revealed that that’s unlikely.
