The American television industry has recognized Dana White’s hard work on Noche UFC.
Last year, the UFC CEO spent more than $20 million building a mind-blowing show at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley lost his title to Merab Dvalishvili in the main event.
Post-fight, everyone was talking about the Noche UFC – otherwise known as UFC 306 – visuals, which used the state-of-the-art Sphere to transform fans into different worlds, while celebrating Mexico during the show to mark its independence day.

Noche UFC wins two Sports Emmys
Before the most ambitious event in MMA history, Dana White outlined his lofty ambitions for Noche UFC.
“You know me, I love to break records,” the UFC CEO said in September 2024.
“This is going to be the biggest gate we’ve ever done in the history of the company, and the most pre-buys on PPV ever, too. People have been buying the event the week before the week before the event.
“My goal with this thing is to be nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Grammy. So yes, there will be a documentary.”
On Tuesday, White’s dream was realized as Noche UFC won two awards at the Sports Emmys.
The UFC boss and his team were recognized for ‘Outstanding Graphic Design – Specialty’ and ‘Outstanding Studio or Production Design/Art Direction’.
Will we get another UFC show at the Sphere?
Almost a year later, no other sporting events have taken place at the futuristic arena in Sin City.
Dana White has always insisted it’s ‘one and done’ for his MMA league at the Sphere
“No, I’m under contract with MGM,” White said when asked if he’s planning another Sphere show after Noche UFC.
“I told you guys leading up to this, the way that this whole thing played out, tonight was meant to happen.
“It happened, we did it, we killed it. I have literally been getting blown up by everybody about this event.
“The other thing we did was that it translated well onto television, too. People felt like it was a different experience than they get on a normal Saturday night for a UFC event.”
