Paul Craig’s light heavyweight return was canceled at the last minute on Saturday night.
The Scottish fan favorite was supposed to face Rodolfo Bellato in the UFC Vegas 106 co-main event.
However, midway through the main card it was announced that their scrap had been called off.
The UFC commentators cited a ‘medical issue’ as the reason for the late-notice fight cancellation.

Paul Craig vs Rodolfo Bellato called off
Just before the third-to-last UFC Vegas 106 fight got underway, the broadcast was interrupted.
It was announced that Paul Craig vs Rodolfo Bellato had been postponed at the last minute.
“We’ve got some breaking news to announce,” UFC commentator John Godden said.
“An unfortunate one. I’m sorry to announce our co-main event has now been canceled due to a medical issue on the side of Rodolfo Bellato.
“This will be rescheduled as soon as we possibly can. May 31 or June 7 in Newark.
“That’s a real shame for Bellato and, of course, Paul Craig.”
UFC fans react to late-notice change
Fight fans vented their fury at a referee after a late stoppage during a UFC Vegas 106 prelim.
Many returned to social media to react after Craig vs Bellato was shockingly scrapped.
“Guess he didn’t wanna get subbed by Paul Craig,” one fan wrote. While another added: “Bruh.”
“WTF,” someone else exclaimed.
“Paul Craig won without even stepping in the cage the Scottish aura is too strong,” a fourth X user joked.
“This is officially the latest pullout on a fight ever?” someone else asked.
“Rodolfo hasn’t won a fight since 2023, cut this bum,” a sixth fan fumed.
