Adin Ross demands trilogy as Anderson Silva’s son struggles to a decision win in rematch with Tik Tok star

Anderson Silva’s son Gabriel Silva continued his return to the ring with a tight decision win over Tik Tok star OJ Rose on Friday night.

The young Silva had already defeated Rose in a Misfits Boxing fight back in November of 2023, with the social media star insisting that he did enough to win. Both men seemed keen on a rematch, but Silva instead went on to challenge Anthony Taylor for his light-heavyweight title.

Since then, Silva has returned under Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions banner where he landed a vicious knockout over ‘USA Saiyan’ Brendan Kelly earlier this year. And he continued his winning run by putting a stamp on his feud with Rose two years after their first meeting.

Adin Ross calls for trilogy as Gabriel Silva defeats OJ Rose

Years after their initial meeting under the Misfits banner, Gabriel Silva and OJ Rose rematched for Brand Risk Promotions on Friday night’s show in Miami. The more experienced Silva looked vicious early on, and showed off his sleek skills as he landed at will.

However, Rose ended up finding his way back into it in the third, despite what viewers might have heard from the inexperienced commentary team that featured streamers xQc and N3on as well as boxing champion Rolly Romero.

With just 30 seconds to go in the fight right as it looked as though Rose may have done enough to sneak a draw with his late onslaught, Silva jumped to life once more. He landed a flush uppercut in the clinch that left Rose stumbling and likely turned the round on its head.

After the fight, Ross was so impressed with what he had seen that he demanded the pair run it back in what he insisted was a ‘rematch’. In fact, it would be a trilogy, and he plans to make the fight next month as the promotion heads on the road for the first time in Nashville.

Gabriel Silva has had an up-and-down influencer boxing career

Since opting to go down the celebrity boxing route, Gabriel Silva has had an interesting run of results. Coming over from an impressive kickboxing career, he made his Misfits Boxing debut by brutalising commentator Ben Davis in September of 2023.

However, he hit a stumbling block next time out as he barely eked past Rose at York Hall, earning a shot at Taylor in the process. He was booked to face the former MMA star in Nashville the following March, but was forced out due to negotiation issues over the weight.

Instead, they fought the following August in Dublin, with Taylor brutally knocking him out inside three rounds after an ugly build-up. He got back on track in the Brand Risk ring earlier this year against Brendan Kelly, whom he stopped in the second.
