Dana White has once again reassured fans about Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall.
‘Bones’ hasn’t fought since knocking out Stipe Miocic to defend his heavyweight title at UFC 309 in November.
Since then, talks about a unification bout with interim champion Tom Aspinall have been ongoing.
However, there appears to be a hold-up on Jon Jones‘ part, and fans are growing increasingly worried that he will opt against a fight with the heavy-handed Englishman.

Dana White provides Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall update
On Tuesday, Dana White hopped on Instagram Live to announce a ton of fight news.
It was confirmed Islam Makhachev will vacate his lightweight title and move up for a fight with new welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena.
The UFC CEO also revealed Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira will clash for the vacant 155lb belt at UFC 317 on June 28.
White also shared a date and location for the middleweight title fight between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev, which will take place at UFC 319 in Chicago on August 16.
Still, fans were made to wait for an official announcement about Jones vs Aspinall.
“I told you guys already, we’ll get Aspinall vs Jones done,” White said.
“The heavyweight fight will happen.
“Just relax, I’ll announce that soon.”
Curtis Blaydes calls for Jon Jones to be stripped
Tom Aspinall knocked out Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds to defend his interim belt at UFC 304 last July.
Since then, he’s been waiting on the sidelines for the chance to face Jones for the true heavyweight title.
Aspinall recently admitted he’s ‘had enough’ of waiting around for the greatest fighter of all time.
Somewhat shockingly, he’s found an ally in the man he brutally beat less than a year ago.
“Can’t even blame him,” Blaydes wrote on his Instagram story in response to a post about Aspinall growing tired of waiting for Jones.
“At this point, Jon should be stripped. End of discussion.”
